The formula goes onto the body as foam and is left to dwell — that is when the film of road dirt softens and loses its grip on the clear coat. Pressurised water then rinses it off. No brush is involved, which is what makes the wash touchless: grit from the previous car is never carried onto the next one.

Active foam for
touchless washing
The first stage at a self-service bay: foam lifts road dirt before anything else touches the body.
What arrives at the bay is concentrate, not a ready solution — a doser dilutes it on site. Average consumption is about 35 ml of concentrate per wash; the exact concentration is set by a technologist for your water hardness and temperature. Estimate a month's volume with the calculator below.
Foam is only the first of three stages. Shampoo follows, then wax or body protection: at the bay these are separate programmes, and each needs its own formula. Full breakdown in the article on car wash chemicals.
Foam, dosers and bays work as one system: we match the formula to the self-service car wash equipment already installed at your site.

Dosing setupChemistry and dosing work together
We take water hardness, dosing pump settings, temperature and the season into account. That helps you get a steady result without overconsumption.
What people ask
before the first delivery
What is in the GEIZER car wash chemistry catalogue?
The catalogue holds 55 products from three manufacturers — Shine Systems, Complex, SmartOpen — which comes to 89 SKUs once the pack sizes are counted. The formulas cover every stage of a touchless wash: pre-soaking road dirt, active foam and touchless shampoos, drying waxes and special-purpose formulas; microfibre and consumables are listed separately. Pack sizes run from 750 ml to a cubic-metre container, and the working format for a bay is a 20–24 kg canister. Prices on the site are per pack, and shipping goes from the warehouse in Barnaul across Russia. Average consumption is about 35 ml of concentrate per wash; the exact concentration is set by a technologist for your water hardness and temperature.
How is active foam different from a touchless shampoo?
These are two stages, not two names for one thing. Active foam goes first: a thick solution sits on the body and stays there while it softens road dirt — it works through dwell time and coverage. The touchless shampoo follows and washes off what has already been softened, producing less foam. In the catalogue they are separate purposes: 3 formulas for foam, 30 for touchless shampoo. Swapping one for the other in a bay does not work — a skipped first stage shows on the paintwork.
Why does the dilution of one formula differ tenfold?
Because the figure depends on what generates the foam. ActiveFoam has two modes in its data sheet: 1:100 – 1:200 for a foam generator, sprayer, pump sprayer and DOSATRON — and 1:10 – 1:20 for a foam kit and a PROMAX-type mixer. The first group dilutes the concentrate themselves, the second feeds an almost ready solution. Set the “foam-generator” ratio on a foam kit and there will be no foam; the other way round, a month’s stock is gone in a week. Exact ratios for every formula are on its catalogue page.
Which formula should I take for hard water?
Manufacturers state hardness only for part of the range, so below are the ones where it is named outright. For medium-hardness water: MASTER, Profy and ROBOX. For hard water: ActiveBase, ActiveFoam, MultiWash and PreWash Active from Shine Systems, POWER SAFE 40 and SAFE 01 Series 2 from SmartOpen, TUTOR, Mercury and SENZA from Complex. TURBO SAFE 41 is declared to work in water of any hardness. If you do not know your own water, start with a test rather than a purchase: on soft water a “hard-water” formula is simply more expensive for no gain.
How is Black Line different from the regular Shine Systems range?
It is the premium series of the same manufacturer: separate packaging and its own mark on the canister. There are five formulas in the catalogue. The difference is practical, not only cosmetic: the series includes ready-to-use products — ReadyFoam is poured into a foam kit without dilution — and scented ones, PinkFoam Aroma and Ambre Mousse. Not every item in the series has a listed price: for three of the five the manager quotes it by volume.
Which pack size should I ship to the site?
The working format for a bay is a 20–24 kg canister. A 60 kg drum and an IBC from 1,100 kg are taken for a chain or a large site: the unit price is noticeably lower. ActiveBase shows it right on the cards — 65 300 ₫ per litre in the five-litre pack, 49 500 ₫ per kilogram in the canister and the drum, and 37 300 ₫ in the IBC (the comparison is approximate: some packs are measured in litres, some in kilograms). The five-litre and 750 ml packs exist so you can try a formula before buying. In the catalogue, pack size is a filter on the left.
What happens after I send an order?
The order goes to a manager, not straight to the warehouse. The manager calls back within 30 minutes — on weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00 Barnaul time, and for evening and weekend orders at the start of the next working day — confirms availability and lead time for every item with the manufacturer, and names the final sum including delivery. There is no minimum order: a single canister is fine. Availability and lead time are confirmed by the manufacturer itself, and it also packs and ships your box, so we do not name a date before it answers. The price the order was placed at is fixed in it at that moment: a new price list will not rewrite it.
Where does the shipment come from, and how do you deliver?
From the warehouse in Barnaul or straight from the manufacturer. We ship by carrier — Delovye Linii, CDEK, PEC, Baikal Service, KIT, Energia, Russian Post — or you collect the order in Barnaul, 30A Bekhtereva Street. If an order holds formulas from different manufacturers, it may arrive in several parts with different tracking numbers: each manufacturer ships its own part.
Is the price on the site final?
The price in the catalogue is per pack and does not include delivery. Delivery is priced by the carrier by weight and volume, so the manager names that sum when confirming the order. Legal entities pay by invoice. The price per kilogram or litre next to the canister price is there so that pack sizes can be compared without doing the arithmetic in your head.
