A market that is only picking up speed

In Russia you have to hunt for good locations. In Vietnam the market is still taking shape — there are more free spots, and they are easier to claim.

A growing car market

The number of cars and motorbikes grows year after year — and there are still almost no self-service car washes. Demand is running ahead of supply.

The season doesn't end

Warm and humid all year round — cars get dirty constantly and there is no downtime because of weather. How much longer the season is — see the chart below.

A low entry threshold

Rent and launch cost less than in Europe or in Russia's large cities. And the income comes in the currency of a growing market.

We are comparing the length of the season, not revenue: Russian car washes are open in winter too, but traffic drops and some sites shut down because of the frost. In Vietnam there is no such break — that is the only thing this comparison claims.

In the cities where we have opened, there are noticeably fewer self-service car washes than in Russian cities of the same size. This is an observation by our team on the ground, not a market study.

We do not provide legal, visa or tax services — we are a manufacturing company. A foreigner cannot obtain ownership of land in Vietnam, so the site is taken on a lease.

No staff is needed at the bays: the customer pays at the control panel and does the washing. What stays on a schedule is cash collection, topping up chemicals and cleaning — taken on by the owner or by someone they hire.

How much does it cost to open a car wash in Vietnam?

The budget has two parts: ours — BRIZ equipment, delivery, installation, commissioning and training; yours — the site: rent, foundation, canopies, water and electricity. The second part depends on the city and the plot far more than the first, so we do not name a single “cost of entry” figure — it would be made up. We calculate it for your specific site after a conversation.

Can a Russian own a business like this in Vietnam?

A company with foreign participation can be registered, but a foreigner cannot obtain ownership of land — the site is taken on a lease. Registration, the visa and taxes are for you to handle yourself or with lawyers: we are a manufacturing company and do not provide such services. We'll suggest contractors we have already worked with.

What are my obligations to the Russian tax authorities if the business is abroad?

To notify the tax office about an account in a foreign bank and report the movement of funds through it, and also to report your participation in a foreign organization. Profit is withdrawn after local taxes are paid. Discuss this with a specialist in the field before you start, not after the launch.

Who physically works at the site?

No staff is needed at the bays: the customer pays at the control panel and does the washing. What remains is the scheduled work — cash collection, topping up chemicals, cleaning, minor maintenance; it is taken on by the owner or by someone they hire locally. Everything else is visible from your phone.

Do I need experience with car washes and the Vietnamese language?

Neither one. We hand over instructions and standards and train you to work with the site and the CRM — the business is put together so that a newcomer can run it. Support at every stage is in Russian, and our team in Vietnam helps with local matters at the site.

How long does it take from the request to the launch?

The timeline is made up of production, sea freight, site preparation and installation. What usually takes longest is not the equipment but the site — everyone's is different. So we name the timeline in the calculation, once we have seen the plot, and we don't make blind promises.

What happens if the equipment breaks down?

Spare parts come from our plant in Barnaul, and we handle support ourselves — we built the equipment and know it down to the last component. Some faults are visible in the system before the site goes down: failures and a drop in revenue at a bay show up in the report.

Can I see the operating sites?

Yes. The addresses of all six are higher up on this page, the car washes run around the clock, and you can drive over any day. If you'd rather talk to a site owner than to a photo — say so in the form.
